Sax and percussion over a DJ set
The same DJ, the same music, with a live player on top of it. It's the cheapest way to make a normal night feel like an event.

What booking sax or percussion does for your night
It lifts the peak without changing the night. Your DJ still runs the room and plays the same set. Adding a horn or a percussionist over the top raises the temperature for the hours that matter, and you can book them for two hours rather than the whole night.
It gives people something to look at. A DJ is, honestly, not much to watch. A live player moving through the room is. Phones come out, it ends up on Instagram tagged to your venue, and that's marketing you didn't pay for separately.
It costs a fraction of a band and asks almost nothing of the room. No stage, no backline, no changeover, no soundcheck that pushes your doors back. If it works, adding a drummer turns it into Club Live.

More than one player
Saxophonists, percussionists and horn players, and they're booked to work with your DJ rather than around them. The good ones spend as much time listening as playing. They sit out, come in on the right track, and know when the floor doesn't need them.
We'll match the player to the music your DJ actually plays. A sax player who's excellent over house is not automatically the right call over an open-format chart night, and getting that wrong is the difference between a lift and a distraction.
